Keith and Aya Ikeda-Barry at Kafka's

There is an art opening at Kafka's tonight featuring the work of Keith and Aya Ikeda-Barry. They are part of the 30 Days Project team and Kafka's is showing the work they did in June.

I started 2 days late, but here is my day 1 and 2 of the Thirty Days Project 2011:

 

I've gotta get some nice markers, because pencil crayons just aren't cutting it anymore.

PS - They look better in person, as pencil crayon doesn't scan very well.

I started putting these little coloured drawings onto wood panels (same as the ones I use for my collages) and I think they look really cute! Here are the first two:

This project has turned me into a hazardous driver. I keep my camera on the passenger seat and am snapping photos of houses that I like when the car is stopped at a light. I make quick swerves onto roads as I see a house out of the corner of my eye that I just have to take a picture of so that I can draw it.
